Learn How to Make a Dainty Corset — Workshop Taught by Abby Carlson

miniature corset
This sassy yet dainty corset was designed to spice up your miniature scene.  It can be flung casually in a chair or  be draped alluringly on the corner of a bed.  This lovely little piece of lingerie will surely allow your imagination to create a special story of your own. 1 inch scale.

The corset is made with 100% cotton and trimmed with French lace, silk ribbon, rayon braid and Swiss entredeux.

In this class we will make a dimensional corset, and as a bonus, enough fabric, lace and trim will be included for you to make an additional corset, with an added pattern for a second style.

Please bring sharp, thin, pointed scissors (to do detail work), paper scissors, glue with applicator i.e. bottle with applicator tip, toothpick etc - whatever you're comfortable with to place small amounts of glue.  Instructor Abby Carslon uses Gripp glue in a small plastic bottle with a long plastic tip and found that this combination worked very well.

Class time and date:  Saturday, March 1 • 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Cost:  $45.00
