Lighting enhances all of the details of your work and allows everyone to see the details inside the miniature. Wiring should be fun and not something to fear.
This is more than just a basic class on wiring a dollhouse, a room box or a book nook. We will be looking at how we can update and improve the wiring practices of the past.
The class is open to anyone wanting help in wiring and electrifying their projects.
We will cover how you can easily use a battery box to electrify that miniature you want to display without an electrical outlet.
We will explore replacing that AC/DC transformer with a Direct Current Power Supply which will improve the functionality of the dollhouse wiring without having to change or replace the existing features in the miniature. This is not a new way to wire as the basics are the same.
There will be an opportunity to make a 9 volt tester which will allow you to check the progress of your electrifying project and any light. All materials and tools to be provided,
After discussion of how to install the battery box with a power connector, you will be given a packet of necessary materials to take with you to do your own project.
The Class will be open to questions and concerns and if you wish to bring a project to discuss, that will be fine, but we won’t have time for everyone to work on their projects.
In order to have sufficient materials available, please register by email at the address below if you plan to attend. You may pay at our booth or at the class.
